We LOVED Gemco. That place was so fun for a couple of Junior High nerds.

Anyway, for the sake of discussion, what are some places you remember in Tucson that are now long gone?

i posted doctor who drinking ideas before ("you have to take a drink or a shot if:") and i thought i'd throw around ideas for drinking ideas based on torchweek; what's already happened, and what you think could happen.

The easy one that inspired this idea was:

you have to take a drink any time CoE uses newscaster footage.

another one i just came up with was that you have to take a drink any time clement says the word "smell" or audibly sniffs.

While at a garage sale this morning I picked up a Doctor Who poster magazine from February 1995. It is all about the Cybermen, and although I was geeking pretty hard I was also wondering if anyone would be interested if I scanned the majority of it (sans the "giant Cyberman poster") to read or just look at the beauty terror unique aesthetic that was the old school cybermen. Even if it is just one of you, I'll be glad to do so and post later in the day!

I have a really boring job. Pretty monotonous, but I get to listen to my ipod all day. And what do I listen to; Doctor Who audios. Or more specifically the missing episodes from Troughton's era.

Unfortunately my ipod decided not to work right on Monday so I've had to go the last two days not listening to anything, which has driven me insane. However it has given me a fair bit of time to play funny games in my head. One of them was to come up with an A to Z list of companions, with a litle creative cheating.

You can probably tell where I cheated. If anyone can fill in the gaps that'd be cool.

But my main question is, is there anyone else with boring jobs who do the same thing? Or just anyone who does the same sort of thing, boring job or not?
